ADR Courses

Here you can view each of the ADR course options that are available.

Please note in order to obtain an ADR licence you must complete the training and pass the exam of:

  • Core
  • At least one class of dangerous goods
  • At least one mode of transport (Packages or Tanks) 

Understanding the modules of an ADR course:

Core

  • Introduction to classes of dangerous goods
  • Legal and regulatory implications of the carriage of dangerous goods. This includes waste materials
  • Vehicle marking
  • Load restrictions and segregation
  • PPE and safety equipment
  • Practical exercises
  • Emergency aid

Packages

  • Types of packages
  • Labelling of packages
  • UN approval marking
  • Limited quantities
ADR Packages

7 Classes

  • Class 2.1 Flammable gas (for example butane)
  • Class 2.2 Non-flammable and non-toxic gases which could cause asphyxiation (for example nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide) or oxidisers (for example oxygen)
  • Class 2.3 Toxic gases (for example chlorine, phosgene)
  • Class 3 Flammable liquids (for example lighter fluid, petrol)
  • Class 4.1 Flammable solids, self-reactive substances, and solid desensitised explosives
  • Class 4.2 Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
  • Class 4.3 Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
  • Class 5.1 Oxidising substances
  • Class 5.2 Organic peroxides
  • Class 6.1 Toxic substances
  • Class 6.2 Infectious substances
  • Class 8 Corrosive substances

ADR Tanks

Core, Packages & 7 Classes – 3.5-day course – BOOK HERE

The 3.5-day ADR training course (Monday – Wednesday) will be hosted live on ‘Zoom’. Zoom can be downloaded onto any Windows, Android, or IOS device but we recommend you use a PC or laptop rather than a smartphone.

Exams are held at our training centre on the Thursday morning. 

Core, Packages & 7 Classes (inc. 21 Driver CPC hours) – 3.5-day course – BOOK HERE

The 3.5-day ADR training course (Monday – Wednesday) will be hosted live on ‘Zoom’. Zoom can be downloaded onto any Windows, Android, or IOS device but we recommend you use a PC or laptop rather than a smartphone.

Exams are held at our training centre on the Thursday morning.

21 DCPC hours included with the course.

Core, Packages, 7 Classes & Tanks – 5-day course – BOOK HERE

The first 3 days of the ADR training course (Monday – Wednesday) will be hosted live on ‘Zoom’. Zoom can be downloaded onto any Windows, Android, or IOS device but we recommend you use a PC or laptop rather than a smartphone.

Exams are held at our training centre on the Thursday morning.

The Tanks module will then begin in the classroom on Thursday afternoon and continue on Friday morning.

The final Tanks exam will be held immediately after the completion of the Tanks course in the classroom.

Core, Packages, 7 Classes & Tanks (inc. 28 Driver CPC hours) – 5 day course – BOOK HERE

Tanks only – 1.5-day course – BOOK HERE

The Tanks only module is held in the classroom on the Thursday afternoon and then completed on Friday morning.

The final Tanks exam will be held immediately after the completion of the Tanks course in the classroom.

*Candidates must already hold a current, valid ADR licence to take the Tanks only module.

Tanks only – 1.5 day course (inc. 7 Driver CPC hours) – BOOK HERE

The Tanks only module is held in the classroom on the Thursday afternoon and then completed on Friday morning.

The final Tanks exam will be held immediately after the completion of the Tanks course in classroom.

7 DCPC hours included with the course.

*Candidates must already hold a current, valid ADR licence in order to take the Tanks only module.
